We all want top dollar for our homes and we also want to sell before the market starts to shift. With interest rates going up it will change the buying power of a lot of people.
Our local market is also starting to show signs of slowing down slightly. Coeur d’Alene has always contracted from the outside in and you will notice that some of the outlying areas are starting to see a little more inventory and a little longer days on market. Will it come all the way to Coeur d’Alene? Only time is going to tell on that one.
But traditionally we are on a 10-year cycle and we are over that 10-year mark right now. Will our area see another crash? I doubt it as we are very desirable right now but we could very easily see enough of a slowing that we are not the hottest seller’s market in the country anymore.
