Post-Falls, Idaho, is located in Kootenai County, about 22 miles East of Spokane, Washington, and 250 miles East of Seattle Wa.
Fredrick Post, a German immigrant, founded it in 1870. The Coeur d’Alene Indians previously inhabited the area. Post bought a piece of land from Andrew Seltice, Chief of the tribe, and later constructed a lumber mill powered by water.
The county is named for the Kootenai Indians and Post Falls has a population of approx. 43,000 people.
It is proximal to many lakes, rivers, and mountains, making it a great place to live and visit.

Post Falls is blessed with four distinct seasons. It has temperatures that average around the 80s in the mid-summer to shallow teens that are experienced during the winter.

There are hospitals fully equipped with the state of the art technology.
There are also many recreational options available in the area such as; Along the Spokane River there is the Centennial Trail for hiking and biking, boating, and swimming. Multiple Golf Courses in the area.
